IPTOS Cloudcast No3 – My Heavier Side

Time for another cloudcast, this time I’m exploring the heavier side of my music tastes. I give fair warning that there’s not a huge amount of clean vocalled singing here, we’ve got roaring, growling, shouting, shrieking and screaming and some other unexplainable vocal noises but not a large amount of melodious singing! There’s no namby-pamby emo shit here! 😉 Tracklisting below.

Nice list dude. I will definitely be looking into more from Made Out of Babies, that was a killer track. If you dig the styles of Isis, Cult of Luna and Agalloch check out a band called Pelican. They’re similar in style to those 2 but a bit more uplifting and don’t have a vocalist. “City of Echoes” is my fave album from them, so I would recommend that as a good starting point. Keep up the good work dude.

Thanks man! Yeah I know Pelican, my fave is probably “The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw”. Saw them live with These Arms Our Snakes a few years ago.
