Yep, you read it right, ol’ blue eyes, let’s face it, weren’t he and the rest of the Rat Pack just the epitome of cool? Sure, my main tastes in music are mainly contemporary and can be obscure and antisocial, but I just can’t help clicking my fingers along to this and tipping an imaginary trilby!
It wasn’t until a friend of mine put on a “best of” album at a party once that I realised how good some of the old crooner stuff was, prior to this if someone had suggested I listen to Frank Sinatra I’d have told them where to go, and don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t get a whole lot of spins but when the odd track pops up on an iPod shuffle it always brings a smile to my face.

This isn’t easy, I think most people know I like a variety of stuff, so I’m kinda at the stage where they’re not surprised anymore!
Hmm, the Mamas and Papas “Make your own kind of music”. I have an album of two of theirs, and this one reminds me of Lost too 🙂
