After the last few weeks of intense album listening for the end of year list, time for a refreshing dive into random tune territory! This morning’s ten tracks spat out by my iTunes shuffle for the never ending playlist were as follows;
1. Jeff Buckley – Gunshot Glitter (off the album “Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk” – possibly the worst Jeff Buckley song I’ve ever heard :()
2. Strangelove – Elin’s Photograph (off the album “Love and Other Demons”)
3. Neu! – Hero (off the album “Neu! 75”)
4. Jurassic 5 – End Up Like This (off the album “Feedback”)
5. Tom Waits – Watch Her Disappear (off the album “Alice”)
6. Oceansize – An Old Friend of the Christy’s (off the album “Frames”)
7. Sounds From The Ground – Drawn To The Woman (off the album “Kin”)
8. Beirut – Port of Call (off the album “The Rip Tide”- not a bad 2011 album but not quite good enough to get in the list! This might be the best track on it actually.)
9. South – Mend These Trends (off the album “With The Tides” – Tides following Tide? Oooh spooky!)
10. Half Man Half Biscuit – Breaking News (off the album “Cammel Laird Social Club” – Awesome! What a way to finish! :D)
