This and the previous mix were done concurrently I think, the mixes were really ramping up in frequency in the last couple of years, so it’s fitting that I upload them at the same time.
I’m pushing the envelope of acceptability again with the squall of METZ into the Sonic Youth-esque snarl of Ikara Colt into the classic, fists in the air rock of Rival Schools! What a trio of bangers though!
Other highlights; tracks 7 and 8, bands from opposite sides of the pond producing a similar style of alternative/indie dance that briefly popped its head up in the mid noughties. The excellent Danish Smiths soundalikes Northern Portrait, another appearance from mix faves HMHB and the third (?) appearance by Black Box Recorder (in danger of sounding like the National Lottery announcer here).
